    <p>Mix the ground ginger, ground turmeric, ground pepper, and cow ghee together and take orally before going to
        sleep. After taking this mixture, no water should be taken.</p>

    <p><strong>External application: </strong>Apply chuna paste around the neck once a day for up to 40 days. Chuna is
        readily available in India as a thick paste in small containers. Open the container and immediately add the
        chuna and honey together in a small bowl and mix to remove the lumps. Then straight away apply the mixture all
        over the throat. It will dry quickly and can then be washed off.</p>

    <p>N.B. Care must be taken not to get it in the eyes, as it can cause harm to the cornea.</p>

<p>The mixture will support the removal of blockages from the heart and blood vessels, prevent the build-up of
  cholesterol, reduce hypertension, and treat other heart ailments.</p>

This month we share one of his remedies for the common cold.<sup>1</sup></strong></h4><p>Clove and honey together have been used for centuries as a natural cough and cold syrup, due to their antiviral, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties. The syrup also helps to reduce the pain and swelling of a sore throat. In addition, the mixture is used to heal mouth ulcers, and generally boost metabolism and immunity.</p><p>Tulsi is also a time-honored remedy for respiratory ailments. There are certain plants that can be kept in every home to keep the atmosphere clean. Two plants in particular are very beneficial – <i>tulsi</i> or holy basil (Ocimum sanctum) and <i>marwa</i> or marjoram (Origanum marjorana). <p>
  In Ayurveda, it is thought that there are two factors that cause fever –
  toxicity due to improper digestion, and foreign particles like bacteria,
  viruses, and toxins. Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia) is a herbaceous vine that is
  used to combat fever, and for its high nutritional content, alkaloids,
  terpenoids, lignans, and steroids. The stems are mostly used, but the leaves
  and roots can also be used.

<p>
  Giloy relieves any type of fever, including chronic and recurrent fever,
  dengue fever, swine flu, hay fever, and Covid. For best results, drink the
  decoction or juice in the morning on an empty stomach, and avoid taking it at
  night.

It is treated by increasing the hemoglobin content of the blood.
