Ivor Browne

Ivor lives in Ireland and is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, University College, Dublin. He has published widely in academic journals since the 1960s and has also written two books, Music and Madness (2008), and The Writings of Ivor Browne, the Evolution of a Slow Learner (2013). He established the Irish Foundation for Human Development out of which grew the North West Centre for Learning and Development and the Inner City Trust, which became a model for the Prince of Wales’ urban village development project and other urban renewal developments around the world. His current work focuses on stress management.
